So, I thought it was about time I shared a few things about me on this lovely blog of mine! So, if you want to know more about me pull up a comfy chair and grab a drink!

  1. I am a Bristol girl born and bred – I don’t have a strong accent though I am happy to say!

  3. I used to hate my freckles growing up, but now I love them. One of my favourite things about myself.
  4. Twitter is one of my favourite social media platforms – I have met so many awesome people through it and can’t wait to meet more throughout 2018!
  5. I do love sharing my photography on Instagram though, it’s a creative outlet that I really enjoy. I’m no good at any other art form so the fact I am ok with a camera makes me smile.
  6. My dream holiday destinations are New Zealand and South Africa.
  7. I am incredibly annoyed by noise – tapping pens, incessant dog barking, people playing their music without headphones on the bus, loud chewing! It all gives me incredible stress.
  8. I have been working on a gratitude journal for the past few weeks and although I couldn’t see the benefits before I started, I can tell you it’s definitely helping me to change my life and my outlook.
  9. I am a Christian and am lucky to be part of an amazing church called NLC – I’ve got an incredible church family and have definitely been pretty blessed in that regard.
  10. I am a huge book geek and love escaping into a book whenever I get the chance.
  11. I struggle to take a compliment, it’s something that has annoyed a fair few people over the years. But I am working on changing that.
  12. ย I am possibly the worlds biggest over thinker – feel free to try to challenge me I doubt you’ll win ๐Ÿ˜‰ It makes my life incredibly difficult for the most part as I can blow even the simplest things out of proportion.
  13. I enjoy a random Netflix binge day – just copious amounts of beverages and some good snacks and the laptop in the comfort of home.
  14. Colouring books are something that has definitely helped me on my journey to be more mindful. It’s yet another thing I scoffed at when it was mentioned to me, but that I have embraced and come to love it.
  15. I love the sea, whether I am in it, on it or just watching it I feel relaxed and at home.
  16. If you can make me a good cuppa we will probably get on well – I adore a good cup of tea.
  17. Spring and Autumn are my two favourite seasons. I am a fan of an average temperature and Summer is generally too hot and Winter is normally not just too cold but also too wet!! Where Autumn holds the key to beautiful colour changing scenery and spring gives me wonderful flowers to photograph and make me smile,
  18. I have been blessed by the fact that friends of mine have recently had a gorgeous little boy Jesse, I get to spend a little bit of time with him for cuddles at least once a week and he brightens my world. He is so adored by everyone, it’s lovely to see.
  19. I have realised how much my true friends mean to me, as I’ve got older I have realised that it’s not always the ones who have known you the longest but the ones who have said they’d been there for you and proved it that mean ย the most.
  20. Two summers ago I remember laughing at James when he told me he was going to New Wine. I called it God camp and couldn’t understand why you’d want to go and sleep in a tent and listen to people preach for a week. But last year I went as part of our church and it changed my life. I learnt so much about myself and my faith and I can’t wait to get back there again this August.
  21. I would love to write a book, but something keeps holding me back. I now have an idea, so there should be no reason for me not to go with it.
